Project SETU started in 2012 at Ancestral village – Jorepakri – Jalpaiguri , North Bengal. Free medical check up / Camp, Free distribution of medications(as per requirement) and continuing for 6 years now

Objectives

Create opportunities for Urban Family Physicians to serve the rural population across INDIA

Adoption of villages to provide competent, accessible and affordable Primary Health Care

Identify the challenges and the differences in both set ups and upskill doctors.

Exchange programs for urban and rural physicians to observe each others practice

The Plan

Identify and make a team – by registration into the progdoctorsram

Mapping location to understand the areas covered

Project Leads as per region

Identify village(Native/Ancestral/Any other)

Awareness talks and display of posters in respective village 1 week prior to camp

Arrange for logistics

Conducting 1-2 days camp(depending on population)
